-Gentle Wind is Rainbow Dashes and Soarins first daughter.After Rainbow's failed marrieage with Zephyr she married Soarin.She was Rainbow's pride when she was born.
She is really courageous.

-But there was a problem.Her mother wanted her to be a Wonderbolt.So did her father.But they don't speak of him.Her dream was to become a dancer.She begged her mother to sign her up to Hoofer Step's dance class.Her mother refused forcing her to go to flying lessons.

-She doesn't like her mother.She was way more closer to her father.After their divorce Rainbow didn't want to tell her why they divorced.This made Windy think that it was all her mom's fault and the fact that she was encouraged to be a Wonderbolt it made her not trust her mother.

-When she was little she had secret dance lessons with Tender Taps.She learned enough to be accepted in Hoofer's classes.The only problem is that she had to lie to her mother that she went to extra flying classes.

-Her Cutie Mark represends her ''dancing away'' from her family's legacy.Explaining the lightning bolt (the Wonderbolts).

-She is a professional ballerina.
