Backstory- A former juvenile offender, Rosa had a troubled childhood. She turned to street fighting as an outlet for her frustrations which got her in trouble with the law. When her mother became ill, Rosa began fighting in the underground circuit once more, after being banned from the pro circuit. However, she knew the money wouldn’t be enough to save her mom. That was when she was approached by Balthazar, who promised to pay for the treatment if she acted as her Red Ranger. Rosa agreed, determined to save her mother.

Backstory-Darius, a single father with a criminal past , was desperate to find a way to support his daughters. With little options, he began to perform small time larceny once more just to keep them supported. He had a code to his work, “only take from those who have more than they need”. He’d become infamous in the criminal underworld, despite his somewhat benevolent intentions. This led Balthazar to him, promising to pay for his daughters’ school. The only condition? Be her Blue Ranger.

Backstory-Adrian Rhodes was a star track runner with olympic ambitions. However he was wrongly convicted for a crime he didn’t commit. Unable to get lenient sentencing, he sat in a cell lamenting his lost future. However he was approached by a mysterious individual who promised to only clear his record and free him. All of this was in exchange for becoming the yellow ranger.

Backstory-Raised in a war-torn country, Nasir was able to find a way to enter the United States and sought to bring the rest of his family over. He was able to get visas for his mother and siblings, but not able to do so for his father. As the sole breadwinner of his family, he worked several jobs but slowly fell into the criminal underworld in order to find way to get his father out of that hell. He then met Katrina Balthazar, and was given proposition: Become her Green Ranger and she would secure a visa for his father.

Backstory-Felicia Park is a complex individual. By day she is working in her family’s restaurant, but at night she puts her expert hacking and coding skills to use as hacktivist. However, the restaurant could no longer afford to pay the mobs protection fees. As such, felecia took it upon herself to undermine the mafia by utilizing her computer skills. This led to the mafia wanting her dead, only further complicating an issue she was trying to fix. This led Katrina Balthazar to her, who offered to pay off her family's debt in exchange for her services as the White Ranger.
