funny story i saw a real cute au ship meme but it was kinda homophobic and OP didn't want people using it for non-straight ships so I decided to make my own ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

absolutely 100% free to use, and yes of course you can use it for any kind of ship: straight, slash, femslash, poly, oc/canon, oc/oc, etc. I tried to leave it gender neutral and open to multiple partners <3 You're also more than welcome to do more than one ship for this meme if you'd like to do different aus for different ships, and feel free to adapt this for written memes!

1) first, please introduce your lovely couple. canon/canon, oc/canon, oc/oc, polyship...anything goes <3 Let us know what you love about them.

2) Let's start out simple, shall we? If your characters are from modern day, transplant them into a fantasy, RPG-like setting. If your characters are already fantasy, take them to modern day.

3) Now let's take your ship into the far future: give them a sci-fi twist.

4) Reimagine your ship as magical creatures: what kind of creatures are they and are they the type to get along? Or perhaps one of them is a hunter of such magical creatures...

5) Speaking of magical what about a god/goddess au? What type of deities would each member of the ship be, and are they benevolent or no?

6) Your ship suddenly has superpowers...are they heroes, villains, or antiheroes? If they already have superpowers, have them swap abilities for a day.

7) One or more of your ship is suddenly wildly famous; are they a Youtuber/Let's Player? An idol? An actor?

8) Time for a swap! Have your ship enter the world of one of your other fandoms, and see how they fit in.

9) One or more of your ship is now evil, how does that play out? If they're already evil, turn them into heroes instead.

10) Let's end off with a relaxing classic; send your lovelies off to the coffee shop for a bit of rest after their alternative universe excursions.
