my contest piece for =Midsummer-snow 's Outo contest
one of my longest black and white pieces, mostly because i have been putting it off for so long 
Fai and Yuui is next

Its a nice piece of art, but the big problem I have is that kurogane seems overly large and not in proportion to the rest of the picture. If the body was smaller and matched the head, there wouldnt be a problem.
Also, while the pose of Fai looks good, perhaps a bit more detail into his posture would have worked. As it stands, it looks too simple and curved. Looks more like a backward curved L than a human sitting down.
And as commented several times already, mokona is tiny, far too tiny for the picture.
Sorry to have to say all this, but the basic design of the image is nice, but it does need some work to really shine.

thank you for your comment and criticism, but i think you should know that CLAMP artstyle (which this is based off of) is that way. The bodies are usually not proportion to the rest.
Kurogane is suppose to be kinda big, since he is suppose to be in front section of the picture. And fai's position is a little strange, but i inked it before i figured that out
also, mokona is suppose to be that small, the anime wayyy over enlarged him/her

I was going more by the manga, which I've read volume 1-12 of.
While he's supposed to be larger than the others, its more his physical presence that's larger than he is. He's a bit taller than the other characters, but not massively larger than the rest. In the picture, the body was massive compared to his head. The proportions were drastically off enough to be visible upon first glance.
Fai however was about right for proportions, considering the manga and his location in the picture.
As to Mokona, again, I was going by the manga. The anime may have made him far larger, but still, the mokona in the picture was way undersized.
In short, good design, but the central figure in the picture, IE Kurogane (and a certain amount of depth being needed) is what makes it require more work.
