Week 23: Water
Up until yesterday, David Gray's version was my favourite version of this song. Then I heard the original by Tim Buckley and I was so blown away by it I don't know If I'm gonna be able to listen to any other version ever in my entire life! So touching and meaningful!!
I knew I wanted to do this photo since I read the theme, but nothing seemed to work, couldn't find the dress, the time, the location. But last week, nearly 3 months later, everything came to place. And even though, this was, by far, the most dificult shoot I've ever done (the tide was wildly rising, the dress was as heavy as you can imagine, my assistant had to constantly run back and forth because of the waves...) I'm so happy about this. And I feel proud I've been able to represent the deep meaning this song has to me.
