Description
So I wasn't sure what to do with the background so i decided a light gradient with a reflection, hope you guys think it looks good.This is sort of my first horsey commission from to do a good painting of her horse onyx(who i've painted digitally a couple times before if you remember).
I've worked very hard on this, its kind of a late birthday/christmas present for sanna. XD Hope she likes this one!

I agree, hooves(For whatever reason) are one of my weakest points on a horse, I have the hardest time with hooves and I could never draw them without reference either, and the tail is rather flat, I wasn't sure how to go about doing it so i figured what the heck and left it.

OMG wow. You know how to draw horses very well... I didn't really take the time to look at the rest of your gallery the last time. I was simply looking for something to critique on.
No I'm sorry I didn't take the time. Perhaps you have some hints on how to do better horses? I utterly fail in regards to certain animals... Such as all of them.

If you go ahead and send me a note, maybe saying some of the specific things that you would like to know on drawing animals along with whatever else I'd be happy to try and help you, though I'm horrible at explaining things and often times don't know what I'm talking about.

Mmm this is very good, though for me the contrast of the shading is to strong, but it is just an opinion... I'm not sure... Otherwise, the shape is fantastic!

The horse is really beautiful and very well done. The background is good, too, but I would've prefered a little more action in it, so it would meet the horse there.
But I have to stay quiet since I totally suck at drawing backgrounds.

I suck at backgrounds too, I was going for something different but the horse alone took me so long and she's been expecting it for a while so I just wanted to get it finished for her...plus I probobly suck more at backgrounds. XD
