Nice job on narrowing down your approach on such a big subject. Rather than capturing the entire creature, you've narrowed down your selection to just the most important part, which is an important decision in photography. You've got some nice symetry in this photo, as well. The only thing distracting is the unshed piece of skin in the lower portion of the picture, which breaks up the symetry and which I also realize you had no control over.

Aw gorgeous markings! Ive got a blood python (shes a short tail!) and her markings are quite pale in comparison.
