What kind of clay are you using, if you don't mind me asking? From a regular crafter, it looks great for a first time! If you do decide to paint it, using watered down acrylic paint works really well for removing visible brush strokes and blending, if that's your thing.

omgosh I love clay! I personally make tiny clay charms based on my fursonas and they are soooo relaxing to make
