I know this is basicaly a sad picture, but the reason why I drew it is also sad.

A few time ago, my friend posted an status post where she said that many people were unfriendly towards her because she likes things which they don´t like. They said nasty things to her and even told her, that she was "retarded" because of her predilections.
I also have to deal with things like this in school, even if it´s not that terrible. I also often get to hear that I am "unnormal" because of what I like. But in my opinion, it is very unfair that other people are doing things like this. They just don´t like you because you like something they don´t. They can´t understand that you are different and they think, this already gives them the permission to treat you like dirt.

But it does NOT give them the permission to do something like this! And because of this, I´m telling everyone who has problemes like this too, that you should never change who you are! You have no reason to change yourself for just being liked by those dump people who don´t even deserve you. Nobody should have to change their personalities and who they are for just being accepted. Everyone is free to do what they want and be how they want.
We all have the right to do this and those people who can´t deal with this have no right to treat us like dirt just because we are different. It is good to be different. We are unique but what counts the most, is that we have been able to find our own way in this world. We don´t need others who show us how we need to be and what we need to like. We are strong enough to decide it on our own and only on our own. We are strong enough to make our own decisions and go our own way. This way might be not easy. It even might be pretty hard. But it will be worth it.

For "normal" people the world is only black and white. Everything must be clearly seperated. But a world only made out of black and white is grey. And grey is borring.
We need to fight against that black and white. The world needs colours and people like you and me and many others who deviate from the "normal" people are brining this colours into the world. Only a world which can be different can be colourful.
Sadly not everyone is brave enough to be different. So it´s our task to bring colours into the world and save it from becoming grey. I know this is not allways easy because there will be more people against you than people who follow you. But despite never stop being different. The world need it. The world needs you and everyone else who is different and brave enough to deviate. The world needs colours.

So let´s continue to be different. Let´s continue to deviate and go our own ways. Let´s continue to live our life like we want to live it. Let´s continue to be "unnormal".

It is good as it is. And if other people can´t deal with this, it´s their bad luck. They are really missing something on our side of life.

Let´s be the colourful side of life.
