This one for my lovely friend Lara LaraBLN You are what you do...just because friendships are good
I wanted this to be a little candy but not overly so
I tried to keep the beach more natural
thought it is enhanced a bit
(The beach is Lighthouse Beach NSW Aust)
little bit of poetry...well kinda

Winds of change in the rain
my umbrella belows
take me away across sea so far
where the sand Yellows
Blue bottles float stingers mute
and the jelly fish are all flavored
in strawberry, lime pineapple too
a pleasure to be favored
the water is fine like elderberry wine
fresh and bubbly too
a dream time, just for you
shells are chocolate white in flavor
the beach an endless beauty
as you walk and ponder
endless sun and friendships fun
on a beach of wonder..

it's getting better now, it's finally summer. But the winter this year was dreadful, it never ended...

yeah the weather strange
I am not sure if it is green house gas etc but to we sure there's more humanity alive and farting on this planet
then has ever been so maybe
but yeah last few summers here have been a little milder this one was a bit warmer
now winter has found us and it has been colder I think
still we are are not quite into it yet june july and August
are probably the coldest months

Yes, the weather has freaked here as well, we've gotten a line of horrid winters almost in a row. And the summers have been bland as well, actually we haven't had a decent summer since '07.

Bushfires, now that can't be fun, it often runs out of control and can be a pest to put out.

yeah dear they are horrible things
I never got any photos and upon reflection I am sorry
I didnt
but part of the train journey here you go through bushland and the fire we had humm 10 years ago
I guess now, there was nothing left in parts but soil rock and burnt trees completely black they were...now it as lush as ever
it looked so barren and alien after the fire
They are a part of nature here
but now so many are at best accidents at worse deliberately started by some moron..
sadly when they get going "Firestorm" is probably the best description for them & they move quick
California I think is probably the closest to Oz in that respect they can suffer like us when they hit.

We're lucky we seldom get real firestorms here because of the extensive raining. It's seldom dry enough out in the nature for a fire to get a real grip. Sometimes you read about some grass and bushes burning and then they come and put out the fire end of story, but it's hardly ever one of those huge things that goes on for days and days.
