Description Man, you hated hospitals, yeah random thought eh? No, you hated hospitals with a passion. So, you were not happy finding out you had to stay at one for care. To make a long story short you had been feeling lightheaded, nauseous and just was always sick with flue and all kinds of diseases. Now normally you’d just shrug it off as just that, the flue or some random virus.

That was until your current foster family decided to take you to the doctor to get you checked out. After all, better be safe than sorry, right?

Well now you were very sorry. It had turned out you had an immune system problem which got you sick a lot of the time. Now to say it was deadly would be a lie, but it had to be treated.

Which lead to you now packing you unpacking your stuff in a private clinic which was supposed to be the best in your county. Your foster parents had been so sure they could help you that they were even willing to spend a few thousand dollars on it! Which, to you, was way too much just to get rid of a cold or a flu.

You sighed as you put your clothes away in one of the closets in your room, you had to stay in this place for at least a month, maybe longer. You were already feeling sick from the sterile hospital smell that was hanging in the air.

You were pulled out of your brooding thoughts when your foster mother suddenly walked in. “Alright (y/n), everything is ready, the doctors here will take good care of you, I’m sure!”  She told you calmly with a smile, as if you were a kid!

Well you weren’t an adult yet, you knew that much, 16 is underage. But you weren’t that much of a kid that you needed someone to tell you that you were safe! Silently cursing you nod to her as a reply, sometimes she really didn’t know what to say.

Your foster mother frowned for a second and gave you a hug, which you returned, because in the end you did like her. She had been there for you ever since you were 13, which had been longer than any foster parent had kept you.

“I need to get going…” Your Foster mom whispered and squeezed you for a moment before pulling away. “Everything is going to be alright.” She told you once more.

“I don’t want to stay here though.” You admitted blushing a bit. This place gave you the creeps, and you hadn’t even met your doctor yet! What if he was like Frankenstein or something? A ghoul or worse, a monster!

“Aww honey, it won’t be for long, and after that you’ll never have to come here again.” She reassured although you weren’t so sure you’d make it that far. She gave you another tight hug and left.

Feeling a cold feeling of abandonment creep up your stomach you sit down on the bed located in your small room and sigh, this was going to be a long month.
-----timeskip---------

After about an hour of texting your friends how horrible it was here two men walked into your room, one wearing a lab coat, the other a nurse’s outfit. They seemed odd to you, the nurse had a stubble which seemed at least a day or 2 old and the other man… Okay he was worse than Frankenstein, he looked more like a fucked-up demon, tooth fairy. smile and all.

For a second there you thought these might be the mental patients from down the hall but when you saw the lab coat man’s name tag you realized it was your doctor, Doctor Kirkland huh? The nurse didn’t wear a name tag so you didn’t know his name.

“Good afternoon puppet!” The doctor chimed all cheery, man he seemed too happy. I mean who would be smiling like that when they meet a sick patient for the first time? “Hi..” you murmured in response.

“My name is Oliver Kirkland or doctor Kirkland. This is Francois Bonnefroi, but he likes to go with mister Bonnefroi.” Oliver explained while Francois only nodded in response, he seemed tired or bored. “I will be your doctor.” Oliver told you, which made you cringe, anyone but him..

“Now before we start I have a few house rules.” Oliver started, which made you sigh, of course. “No walking around at night, the hallways aren’t always lit and we would rather not find you hurt in the morning. Please don’t leave your room without escort, and no Mobile phones. It might mess with our equipment.” The man explained which made you gasp, no way.

“You’ve got to be kidding me!” You yelled as you held onto your phone dearly when you noticed that Francois went to take your phone from you. “You can’t do that!” You whined.
“I’m sorry (Y/N), but these are the rules, and since you are underage you will have to obey them puppet” Oliver claimed, seemingly with sympathy.

Francois in the meantime was still holding his hand out, expecting you place your most prized possession into his hand. Seeing your hesitance Oliver added “You will get it back when you leave the clinic~” Oliver reassured, making you hand it over with a sigh.

Your phone soon disappeared into the pocket of Doctor Kirkland, never to be seen again, at least, according to you.

“Now if you would please come with us” Oliver chimed as you got up, following them as they walked through the hall. You still were confused about why Francois was there.

They lead you down a long hall where you eventually reached an examination room. “Please, have a seat.” Doctor Kirkland instructed as he pointed to the examination bed. Sitting down on the edge of it you felt tense, vulnerable somehow. Sitting here on your own without your care takers, in a room with two weirdo health care experts.

“We would first like to get a blood sample so we can determine how bad your condition is~” Kirkland explained as Francois suddenly pulled out a syringe. You wanted to protest, but knew full well they needed this to help you.

Against better judgement you rolled up your sleeve and let Francois take a blood sample from your arm. You cringed for a second when the needle pierced your skin, not being used to needles in the first place.

He was done in about 2 minutes and put a small bandage on the even smaller wound. “Now that we have that behind us, we can focus on more pressing matters.” Oliver chimed as he started to quiz you about your affliction and the way it affected you.

Meanwhile, Francois had walked out of the room and entered a staff room where he put half of the blood sample in a test tube closing it off. “Zhat should be enough for Dna testing.” The man whispered with a wicked grin on his face. “Zhis time zhe test will be positive.”

This seems like an interesting idea, I don't think there've been other stories like this that I've seen. Hospitals creep me out already, add the 2ps and I'm curious to what you'll come up with.

I honestly have no idea. They'll probably be messing with the reader's mind a lot, and with this whole mysterious experiment they have going on.
