Hello My Stars,

I hope you are shining brightly. I had momentarily forgot how to shine myself and got some worried about where my art would go from here. I drew this piece as goodbye. I wrote this notice in my head at least a hundred times over the weekend. I had so many reasons and poetry and pain and sadness and I couldn't settle on anything tangible that felt 100% true to my soul.

Am I having personal troubles and is that effecting my art? Absolutely. Is there something more deep that hides under it? Can't tell at this given moment, but it isn't fair to anyone to blame anyone or anything for hurting me.

Kintsugi is the art of putting what is broken back together and melding it with gold. It brings a new beauty to something broken so it can continue to live.

Sometimes we just need a paintbrush and a little gold.

I am retiring from taking commissions. At least...what you know what it's like in the past for commissions. I may open an occassional slot for inspirational reasons or practices of a specific nature. I am moving on to a project that will take years of dedication and I had to choose between my commissions and my 9-5 job. My 9-5 job is more stable and I can still draw while working.

We were all born under the same light, same soul, we are one down to our core, so please do not see this as a goodbye...

But a Rebirth.
