Gotta say spending hours drawing out every line of Kurt's face whilst listening to his music on repeat was sadder than I expected.

Anyway, all the usual stuff (Derwent graphite pencils 2H - 9B,blending sticks etc.), 3 days, plus a HUUUUUGE Nirvana playlist over and over. Think I'm getting the hang of this realism thing

Wow, it's a gorgeous portrait. He looks so full of pain and sadness, but the eye's are so lovely. It's a wonderful expressive picture

Yeah, I was also surprised by this! I mean, I'm not boasting or whatever, but they have works of beginners in they gallery, then declining me seems strange. About your work- this is just stunning, you have amazing skills, really!! Looks very professional. Declining this looks like a joke- a stupid joke You're right, this group is insane. Well who needs them then? There are dozens of others! Leaving it for sure.
Oh, and thanks for the compliment and the watch! I'm really pleased, appreciation from a great artist is always smth special.

So very true...I like a lot of the groups.. The contests are fun and motivate me to do something new or something I haven't thought about doing. I left the group...plenty of good ones...I don't need some know nothing teenager ( no offense if you are a teen) that owns a camera and has no drawing skill to tell me that my works look like shit..haha...and THANK YOU!!!! Yeah that's right, contests are cool, but personally I never participate - I just have way too many ideas and projects to accomplish! I wish I could draw like a full-time job
Haha I'm sixteen but nevermind at least, I can appreciate other people's art when it's just obviously good. I'm not talking about conceptional photography or other complicated stuff... I actually agree that ppl who manage those groups should have some knowledge of art and good taste, if not skills... Or just, I dunno, psychically normal people with normal eyesight seriously.

Wow, I checked out your drawing and it's just stunning!! I love your shading style, doesnt even look like graphite pencils but more like charcoal. Great job! It only seems to me that the eye is a bit smaller than it should be, but it's probably just the photo oh, and thank you a lot!!
