Ooh, lots of potential here. I'll send you a note.

(One thing, though...I don't want to make a policy of doing commissions from references of other people's jewelry. Could you send me a clear shot of the necklace from the original manga or anime? Thanks!)

Yeah, I ran into the same problem on Google images. I found what I needed, though. (I mostly wanted to confirm that the original didn't have wings.)

Uh...no thanks. Sorry. I'm perfectly happy with my own flexible personal style. Since I developed all of my original pendant designs myself for free, I think I'll do just fine here without paying the low, low price of $19.99 each plush shipping to learn how to do herringbones or tree of lifes like everybody else. If I ever do want to learn, I'll try a free tutorial instead:

Ank0lie [2010-09-12 17:55:53 +0000 UTC]

Yes, really nice! I think you should tighten the junctions a little more, but it's really good for a beginner!

Sageleisa [2010-09-11 22:21:44 +0000 UTC]

Very cute, I like how you did the wiring! The piece just st of syncs and flows together

Lussuria [2010-09-10 11:00:18 +0000 UTC]

Wow this looks really gorgeous. And the flow of the wire gives it a real ethereal kind of look to it. Very very cool

DPBJewelry [2010-09-08 03:55:24 +0000 UTC]

very nice, especially if you're a beginner. You have a good eye for positive and negative spaces and the flow is interesting. Precision gets easier with a few hundred wraps under your belt. One thing that sometimes helps new wire artists is to use 'half-hard' wire. It takes a little more pressure to bend the wires into the shapes you want, but it also makes it harder to slip and make those bends you can't undo. Artwire like you buy in the hobby stores is very soft, so try starting with a little heavier gauge (20 or 22) and bigger stones. Once you get the knack you can move down to smaller pieces. Check out Innerdiameter for her brilliant wrapping. I have a piece or two in my gallery too.LOL. good luck. great start.
