Needed to design a greeting card for comercial art class and came up with one that I could incorporate my best friend and my character aliases, Midnite and Star, as a friendship card. (especially motivated since our birthday were back to back this week. ^^)I was a bit put out that we'd only be doing the cards in two colors (and no blending or shades unless I wanted to do something a lot more difficult for the mechanical). So on Sunday I ended up coloring it the way I wanted digitally--good thing so that I had it in time to give as a card.
For the actual card, the saying is on the inside. Both of us are huge bookworms and will end up reading like this ^_^ For some manga sometimes one of us ends up reading over the other's shoulder lol It's kinda funny but works at the same time. ^__^

Wow. This brings back memories. My best friend and I used to have sleep overs, and we'd spend half the night curled up with individual books(or the same. We'd read Ella Enchanted back and forth all the time). This is really a beautiful image, and the quote just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Do you plan on selling it at any of the Florida conventions?

OOooh I adore the book Ella Enchanted! Hehe yes, I'm so happy that in my latter teen years I've found such a good friend whose just as obsessed with books and anime as I am. ^^ Well, if people seem interested in them as cards I wouldn't mind making some. If I did that I think it'd be cool making a couple different cards though. ^_^ I'll def consider it.

Yay another Ella fan! It's indeed very wonderful that you found a great friend who shares your interests. It's always nice. If you do create a set of cards, I'd certainly be interested. I love collecting cards (I rarely get the chance to, but I love mailing cards to friends), especially ones with pretty art or really nice sentiments. Best of luck~
