Description I was thinking about hatching dinosaur eggs
Laid out in neat circles,
Hatching them with meteors and floods
Separating the siblings throughout the continent.

And I thought myself a spited god
And I saw myself a contemplative creature.

I grew the forest out
So I could see the tree
I wasn't alone, then,
The very brook that wound through
the roots of every living thing.

I thought I was the world's center
And every thought revolved around me

I am now very much alone, now
A pioneer, a nomad,
Alright, alone now.
Leaving a home,
Ravaged by war
Unprotected in my cowardice.
But I smile for the silhouettes
Of cities I see along the horizon
Maybe I'll join them again someday.

I can go back to swallowing my mined  heavy meddles
And sink to the bottom of the Pacific.
