Facts:

- Haaaates being called Fancy Prancy despite it being his real name (few know it). Can be done to annoy him though x'D

- Gets annoyed easily when others ciritque his work or talk about his "blank flank"

-Probably the most arrogant pony youll ever meet.

-Based off of carousel horses-even his outfits o 3 o

Personality: Vanity is what he calls himself "vain" and takes it proudly. Infact being in his company for more then a few minutes is sometimes painful due to his inflated ego and extreme arrogance. Its common to hear him call every other pony a "commoner" or "thoose folk" since Vanity says he's descended from far royalty (there is no real proof that he is, could be another far fetched story) and views himself as better they everyone else due to his "rare and wonderful" talent at designing.

Besides this Vanity is hard-headed and stubborn when it comes to critiques or thoose who dont agree with him. When it comes to showing feelings other then self promoting it becomes hard as he's not use to it and would huff before turning around and running away with his tail held high (as if he would admit anything).

But somewhere beneath all of that hot air is some genuine caring for others and sometimes acts on it without being literal because for some reason he doesnt want others to view him in any other fashion.

Bio:

Vanity was an up in coming fashion designer, stationing himself within the midst of Canterlot so he could design "for the best and ONLY the best". His designs were based mainly on carousel decor (in which most of his art galleries are crafted after) and only wanted the attention of the high ranked.

He fell into a fashion rivalry between him and Diamond Beat (another designer) later on. Vanity would always attempt to try and outdue her with his designs but rather it was just him trying to cover up growing feelings he didnt want to admit to at the time (he never liked showing sincere emotions).

But still Vanity was always annoyed with the slim detail that he still never achieved his Cutie Mark. Despite his attempts to ignore it or even hide his blank flank (as he did his original name) Vanity couldnt keep it off his mind.

Finally it bothered him to the point where he gave the excuse that he must "show the commoners his true colors" and expanded to small places such as Ponyville to see if he can achieve it being somewhere more quiet. But even then all he does currently is annoy more ponys (especially a bull pony named RushOut) and show off and like most times hide his self pity and lonliness.

In the Future:

Vanity actually will achieve his Cutie Mark one day after he learns to be himself instead of hiding it constantly (and even then his arrogance would count as being "himself" just probably drop a few...many, levels xD) and sharing his love for designing with the one he loves as its finally not for himself but for someone else.
