Je suis fini. DXNo seriously I'm not making a stupid french mistake here. I'm done for. Dead. Bang.
This picture was so fun to draw nyan! ^.^~ gave me so much hell I don't know where to begin.

Ok so I did the lineart is Sai...But the trial period was done, so i figured I could just take a screen shot...The I decided to colour on Sai (<---BAD IDEA ALERT)....Ugh UGH! Colouring on Sai was weird because I'm not used to it. So now i regret this
And I couldn't save because, the trial period was done...So I couldn't turn off the computer
And I just couldn't finish it in one sitting because my mum kept on dragging me to places every time I sat down
So I finally finish, and decide-
You know, I really don't need to type the rest. No one's gonna read up to here in the artist comments anyway.

Airbrush Overload. Usually, I just use the airbrush for the skin, but this time I used it for everything.

I don't think it looks half bad.... the pose may be a little static and the picture as a whole is a bit flat, but there are a lot of things I like. The anatomy seems pretty good, the color scheme works pretty well I think and, hey it's obvious the background is not supposed to be a major object of attention here.

True, the background isn't supposed to be the main object of attention, but I barely ever draw backgrounds so I usually feel kind of half-assed (for lack of better word XD) because of it.
But sometimes simple backgrounds are nice too. I don't know anymore XD

I'm sorry for your SAI troubles, that really does sound quite frustrating. But you did a great job and so it was quite worth it.

I kinda see what you're talking about on the goggles, but I adore the idea. I'm not entirely sure about the x's through the middle because it would make it a bit difficult to see xD.
The hands look fine to me, but I know next to nothing about anatomy so... neh. I love her necklace though. Actually... I pretty much love her entire outfit.
As for the program I personally use (and frequently recommend) GIMP. It's similar to Photoshop and SAI, but it is a GNU product which means that it's free for everyone for any (legal in your area) use. I has layers and can be used with a tablet. (I assume, it has settings for a tablet. I don't have one so I can't verify how well it works.) I rarely have problems with it crashing and updates come out fairly fast if there is a problem with the new version. I have had problems with using huge canvas sizes, but usually it just slows down a bit. The default brush pack is pretty skimpy, but you can find a lot of free for use brushes for it... I'll stop my sales pitch now. Sorry if it was a bother.

Yeah, the x's would make it difficult to see, but hey, it's a fantasy drawing it doesn't have to be convenient (and maybe that's why they're perched on her hat instead?)

I've never actually tried using GIMP before.
I usually use Photoshop for all of my drawings, I have the full/non-trial version of elements8. I had downloaded SAI right before I got a new computer, and so the trial ran out before I could use it and unfortunately SAI isn't compatible on Macs D:
But now because of being halfway across the world from my main computer, I have to use my old one, and I thought maybe I could finally give SAI a shot...

Well congrats on having Photoshop. I use GIMP on my laptop because 1. I can't afford Photoshop and 2. It's a heck of a lot smaller. GIMP does have a version that is compatible with Macs. I've heard a lot about SAI, but I've never bothered to try it since GIMP does almost everything I need. (The only thing that I dislike is that it's "Imitate pressure" feature is full of fail and I end up doing it manually when I need to taper the lines.)
