I just can't aim on it worth anything, and it doesn't help that our TV is a million years old and the pixels don't allow me to see the words on the screen, or the sights for that matter.

Bet my TV is older, we've got those box tvs...and it's not super bad I guess, except yeah. the screen is very clear, and it's hard to tell enemy from tree. I know how you feel...
