I have change Freya a lot as I have worked on her through last year and have finally give her a profile she really needed.

Past/Bio: Iridessa was a faerie original from Earth, when some family came to visit from Gemworld they asked if she wanted to come back with them. She agreed, once she was there her family pushed to met Alistair Henrietta. They had only known each other a short time before their families set them up to marry. The two made it work somehow, however they couldn’t conceive. Alistair quietly blamed Iridessa and Iridessa quietly blamed Alistair. Finally Iridessa had enough of the blaming, in the middle of the night she went to earth and got in contact with an old lover of her.
A few weeks later when it came back that Iridessa was pregnant the two were overjoyed. Alistair was less overjoyed when he found out that the baby was a girl. After Freya was born Iridessa noticed that her wings were not showing. Iridessa guess that with Freya being a hybrid that she wouldn’t get all her fairy traits since Freya also didn’t have her pointed ear.
Iridessa focused on teaching Freya how to use her powers at a young age. Since Freya wasn’t Alistair daughter she carried no Homo magi gene. Iridessa not wanting Alistair to figure it out taught Freya how to appear like she was a Homo magi through using mana. Like most magic using mana requires spoke spells, charms, runes, or rituals.
Since his wife focus on their daughter’s “magic” Alistair focused on Freya combat training. He was tough on Freya in training and often time compared himself to her. This often caused Freya to hate training with her father as she got older she wouldn’t show up for training with him. This also cause Alistair and Iridessa to fight a lot and loudly. Once night when Freya was sneaking to the kitchen for a midnight snack she heard them arguing in her father’s office. At one point Iridessa snapped telling him that Freya wasn’t even his daughter. Iridessa threw open office door only to see Freya who was very confused over the other matter. The next morning was when Dark Opal attack. Iridessa rushed into Freya’s room waking her up, rushing out of the room with the hopes of meeting up with Alistair. They ran to the courtyard only to see Alistair’s head get cut off by one of Dark Opal’s men. The two ran to Alistair’s office where the portal crystal were kept. Opening a portal Iridessa kissed Freya’s forehead and told her to be strong.
Iridessa pushed Freya into the portal and broke the crystal. On November 5th, 2012 Freya appeared in East Gotham. Scared and alone in a place that was clearly not Gemworld Freya formed a barrier around herself and stayed there. Nightwing came along soon after, over two hours of talking and learning that she was not from Earth. Nightwing got her to drop the barrier and he took her to the manor. After Batman ran some test Batman finally cleared that she was not a threat but still need to be watched. So Nightwing ended up kinda forced her to join the team.

Personality: Freya is quiet and reserved from years of her father teaching her that she is to be seen and not heard.She doesn’t show her emotion or stating a idea to just anyone. She often times comes off as cold or uncaring but those close to her know that she is sweet and loving. She very loyal to her friends and cares for them like family.
