Description

"(name)!!!!" Kiku rushed in, blocking Tai Fukishira's blow. The two blades colided within three inches of (name)'s spine, a blow that would've killed her instantly. She whimpered as the men drew back.
"Fukishira.... you've really crossed the line!" the Emperor ground his teeth together, fighting the urge to slit his throat then and there. But he couldn't do that with (name) there. he wouldn't let her down like that.
"Poor Little Honda...... so weak, so useless!" Tai again lunged at the defensless (name).
"Not happening, Fukishira!" Kiku swifly darted forward and grabbed (name), pulling her away from the potential murderer. He cut through her bonds and held her shaking form close. Eyeing his opponent, he whispered in (name)'s ear. "Run. I have a horse waiting. Find it and wait on me."
"W-What? No I-I wont l-leave you alone!" (name) gripped his arms and looked into his eyes, silently pleading him to let her stay.
"No, (name). If you stay here you will be in danger. I wont let you die, (name)."
(name) let that sink in for a moment. "I'll go...." She murmured. 'If I don't, I'll get hurt, or be a distraction to Kiku and he will be...k-killed.'
"Go. NOW." Kiku pushed (name) away as Tai tried to sneak up on the couple. As startled as she was, (name) took off, leaving her Emperor alone to face his fate.

"Where.....is....it...?" (name) huffed. She had run from the mansion and down the mountain, ignoring the pain it brought. She was so tired that she could barely stand, but (name) trudged on in search of the horse.
"Hhn!"
A snorting sound caught her attention. Just to her right stood a pure white horse, obviously tired and bored out of it's mind. On it's side was the Imperial seal. She had found it!
Taking a few more steps, she walked to the horse. When it first saw her, it started to panic and tugged at it's reins, which were tied to a tree.
"Shh! I wont.... hurt you!" (name) panted. Reaching out, she stroked the muzzle, causing the horse to calm down. Satisfied, (name) colapsed against the tree. "T-There! Made... it! I-I'll... be.......waiting.............."
(name) closed her eyes and let the tantilizing darkness she had been pushing away envelop her.

Kiku drew back, panting heavily. Blood dripped down his arm, and he winced in pain. Fukishira was even worse off. His shirt was ripped and bloody, and he limped from a giant gash in his left leg.
"I....Wont.....Lose....HONDA!!!" Tai Fukishira carged and brought his sword down in a deadly arch. Ina spilt second, Kiku dodged and swung his own sword, with deadly accuracy.
"Curse you.... Honda......" Tai Fukishira dropped to the floor. Dead.
Panting, Kiku Honda sheathed his katana. "Fukishira...... you fool...." Turning, he left the body of his fallen enemy and went to relocate his horse and (name).

Kiku was worried. He couldn't find his horse. He was sure he had left it to the right of the path, but it wasn't there.
'I need to hurry! (name) needs..... medical attention!'
CRACK
He looked to his immediate left. Something was there, in the bushes. Silently, he walked over and peered through the leaves. In front of him was his horse, pacing. (name) sat beside it, asleep, but alive.
'So... It was the left, after all.'

"KIKU!!!" (name) sat up with a jolt. Immediately, pain echoed through her body, forcing her back down on the bed. Wait... bed? (name) blinked as she took in her new surroundings. She was back in the palace, the medical ward, to be exact. A window was open, letting in a warm breeze and a few red leaves into the room.
"(name)... you're awake..." Kiku stood in the doorway, relief on his face.
"Hnh? K-Kiku..... what happened? All I remember was- *gasp*! Tai Fukishira! A-And the m-maids, a-and-"
"Calm down, (name)!" He walked over and placed his hand on hers. "(name), it's over. Tai Fukishira... wont bother us anymore."
(name) stared at him as she tried to comprehend him. As recognizion registered in her brain, tears began to fall. "K-Kiku..."
"Shh.... It's okay now, (name). It's okay now..."
