So Remember that time forever ago when i pitched the idea of a scientist/single father making a robot to help around the house but his daughter messed with it and it fell in love with him????

cause I'm rewriting it almost completely

a Single father who is a highschool science teacher is notified of his older sister's death (by car accident), and comes to the funeral. Afterwards the fam opens up her will and it states "and to my baby brother I leave the light of my life and the result of my life's work, you need him more than anyone, take care of him". He thinks its some nephew he didn't know about only to receive this ridiculously large box with Marcel inside along with a thick owner's manual and basically Marcel is a robot with an AI and developing personality designed by his sister to help anyone its assigned to

but if i do then that heart on his shirt is like a battery level (he is charged with sleep/storing energy) and the thing on his belly is a lock of sorts, it keeps his body closed but when opened it opens his back so you can access his mainframe
his eyes can glow in the dark and act as flashlights! (the little dots in his ears are microphones for him to hear with) and the mole on his cheek is like a power button

idk i like him

and of course there was a marcel V.1.0 and 1.5 but we don't talk about that
