On all pairings: Sorry, but its just really stupid. It's not the selfcest, its the fact they're exactly the same character. While they would get along well, they have a high chance of getting sick of eachother, because they would think exactly alike, act exactly alike, and would get sick of the constant similarity of their lifestyle. Beyond that, there isn't any chance for growth of character. They would settle in to the same exact patterns as before, learning nothing from their time together. Even pairings like Fluttermac, with their high similarity, they are at least different characters. They've had different lives and experiences, they can settle into a new lifestyle, and grow as characters. And from a foal standpoint, even if you discount deformities due to the incest aspect, they're just clones of their parents, And if you take into account their parents or siblings genetics, you've still only got a limited set of colours, because theyre, again, just the same characters, just as the opposite sex.On Blitzdash: This is definitely the worst out of all the M6XGS pairings. Both of them are arrogant and narcissistic, and would be immediatly annoyed by having someone just like them, and want to prove who's better, and would get even angrier when they would be matched, and would continue fighting, convinced that their the real one, and that they're better. Its pretty simple why these two don't work out.
BE RESPECTFUL WITH COMMENTS, PLEASE. Making a case in favor of this is different than "OMG YOU SUCK FOR BEING AGAINST THIS".

Wait, really? My opinion on one ship is worthy of throwing away literally every other piece of art among the closing in on 2,000 deviations I've made? An opinion on which I have cooled down upon? One that does not embitter me to you or anyone else who ships it? I've even defended people who weren't there to hear them being genuinely hated by somebody for shipping this. You seriously think that an opinion on a ship that, in the end, will never be canon or not canon, because Rainbow Blitz is imaginary, is worth choosing to abandon everything else I've done?
Well, if you honestly think so, there's not exactly anything I can do about it. Have fun, really. I'm not being bitter here; if it does ruin my work for you, I'd want you to stay away, so you don't have to feel bad.

I don't know why though but I like the art and fanfictions, I don't like the actual substance of the ship.

I mean sure, the fanfictions seperate Blitz as a different character and gives him more of a personality other than Dash's, the art is kind of cute and wonderful but if this was an alternate universe, this ship wouldn't work.

But if you make Blitz as a copy of Rainbow Dash and give the personality time to flush out (I forgot where I read that) then Blitz would be different from Rainbow Dash.
Sure, their appearance would be the same but personality is what matters.

I'm a little confused by what you're trying to say. I'm not trying to say you worded it wrong, but I'm unsure of what your point was. I'm sure it's just me failing to understand this, not that you're bad at explaining.Β
And to be clear, everyone has a right to ship whatever they want. I'm not trying to say that people who ship it are dumb or wrong, I'm saying that I don't like it.
