The day she learned she would never fly (she got there on soarins back), her parents, (and RD) gave her a private show(with RD's wife pinkie and their daughter sugar rush) to make it up to her, before even telling her the truth.Thats how Flame Burst met sugar rush, and the beginning of her path to anger and depression

It was a bright and beautiful day, as if blissfully unaware of the tragedy that would occur under its shining rays. Fortunately, so was she.
The sunny bright filly sat on a cloud, her short frayed mane a tangled mess of bright orange, her eyes a forest green.
A new handwoven wonderbolt plushie, made by rarity as a gift for her not days before.
Her eyes sparkled with joy as she saw her parents, and her aunt perform for her. Rainbow dash wasn't her aunt, of course, but she was like one. Her face split in a small grin of wonder.
She watched as Rainbows hair whipped around her, the air forming a cone around her, and an awe inspiring noice boomed through the sky, as a sonic rainboom was perform right infront of her eyes.
Her parents thundering cloud trail left a beautiful linework for a picture in the sky, the rainboom filling it with color. When the picture was finished, she saw a huge picture in the sky of her!
She heard a racket behind her and turned to see a pink earth mare, and a magenta filly cheering as loud as they could. She moved her cloud over to them and smiled.
"HI!" Flame Burst jumped in shock, and saw the magenta filly's face hanging upsidown. "Names Sugaranne Jennifer Rush! But everypony calls me Sugar Rush!"
Flame Bursts shock wore off quickly, extending a hoof. The filly's mere presence seemed to cheer her up.
"Mines Flame Burst. Flame Burst for short." They both broke in to a fit of giggles.
Suddenly, Flames parents, soarin and spitfire had landed on the cloud.
" Flamie, sweetie, we need to talk..." Soarin said, his voice shaking. Sugar Rush went back to the pink mare, and Flame Burst looked at her father worriedly.
" Whats wrong daddy? Why are you crying?" She said softly, watching her fathers tears stain the cloud. Spitfire stepped forward.
"Flamie, we have something to tell you..."
The little yellow filly looked questioning, and Spitfire grabbed her daughter in a warm embrace. " Youll never be able to fly...." Spitfire broke into tears as her husband cried softly.

Her whole world shattered in an instant. She tried to put the pieces of her mind back together. She was the child of the best wonderbolts! She had dreamed of donning the electric jumpsuit one day and join her parents in tricks, and pull of a rainboom of her own! She couldnt possibly not be able to fly, she had to! What else would she do? She didnt want to give up!

She struggled away from her parents and hugged the cloud she was on, humming her wings like a motor, sending her closer to cloudsdale, and farther from her parents. The wind she cause broke the sky painting into fragments.
When she arrived at the edge of cloudsdale, she broke down into tears, as the last of the painting dissolved
