Description
At this point Isobel was positively dazed—suddenly unable to comprehend how he had put himself in the position he was now in. Urdul had been breathing reminiscences on his mouth and he had been ingesting it in as though in a trance. He had been thinking of what his twin had told him, about desiring this and remembering that…and he almost burned of shame realizing he had just, fully aware for the first time, tested if he could lure Urdul and then got lost in the moment himself. That it was Urdul who’d noticed the unusual compliance and suggested the possibility of an identity switch—Isobel wondered if Urdul knew that Isachar could change her appearance—roved that, between the two of them, he had more command of his proper senses.
And Isobel, having just managed to get himself seduced, found himself being ushered towards the bed.

“You should know better than to bait me like that…knowing how susceptible I am to your flirtations.” There were several shouts of denial, a scuffle that dislodged a few books from where they had nested on the cushions, and then a few moments of silence while Urdul put an end to Isobel’s thrashing by way of a kiss.
