This is beautiful! I've never used watercolors, but I wonder if you worked from the lightest values to the darkest?

Thank you! I drew the structure with a bright pink color pencil, then built up from very light to very saturated.

Thank you, very much. I am using a Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolors Compact Set. I love it. I am also using a water brush, a brush that holds water in the handle. It's great, because I don't have to have a water pan. Very portable.

that's really cool and convienient (sorry my spelling has been off lately)! I've tried taking water jars to places I visit like parks and zoos and sometimes they spill all over the place >.<
