Sombra is Galactide's father. I didn't watch every episode of mlp, especially after season 5 or 6, so while I know that Sombra comes back, I don;t know everything he did after that. All I know is that he and an unknown woman had Galactide, the woman died/ left, and now Sombra is stuck with a brat. Galactide got his talent with magic from his father.
