Backstory:
Jasper's egg was donated to Mami's Daycare by a quiet Herdier who explained very little about the eggs origin other than the fact that she was the mother, but couldn't support a child at the moment.

Olive, a member of team Blizzard, happened to be filling out paperwork to adopt a Galarian Ponyta, Carousel, at the time that Jasper hatched, and offered to become a temporary guardian of the Lillipup/Impidimp. Seeing as no one else was offering to care for the pup, Mami agreed.

After a few weeks in his care, Jasper declared there was no better Papa than Olive and refused to consider finding a different family, so the adoption papers were signed for him as well.
