Description

Strength

-Power: Cobalt’s arms are noodles, so he doesn’t dish out much damage per hit. Don’t ask him for any help moving furniture.

-Defense: Cobalt’s skin is pretty thick, and his bones are lightly reinforced with crystal. He’s still pretty feeble, but he tends to bruise rather than break.

-Combat: Tends to favour more strategic tactics, if only out of necessity – most of his battle plan is to use Confuse Ray and Foul Play to turn a stronger opponent’s power against them, only using his other moves to exploit type weaknesses. Not much actual experience, as he tries his hardest to avoid fights.

-Moral: Generally, Cobalt’s serene and guilt-free when it comes to his actions, but this has more to do with his near-pathological ability to justify himself than any exceptional moral purity. Generally, he needs to screw up royally before he’ll even start to consider that he messed up.

-Health: Cobalt’s fairly healthy for his species, and living in the wild has kept him in reasonable shape, but he’s still not the most robust Pokemon out there. His stamina’s okay, but living a virtually solitary life deep underground didn’t do much to build up his immunities to anything he might pick up in the city.

Intelligence

-Academics: Cobalt spend the first part of his life alone, miles underground, hoarding every book he could get his grubby little hands on. He’s got an extensive amount of knowledge as a result of his reading…but as he was limited by whatever books he could steal or barter off travellers, a lot of his knowledge is spread out across random, unconnected and possibly useless subjects.

-Folklore: He knows a couple of interesting stories and/or legends, but generally he’s better with facts or pure fiction than he is with mythology.

-Memory: His memory isn’t great…he’s better at holding onto interesting facts than he is more mundane things like “where did I go and leave our key?”.

-Strategy: Cobalt definitely prefers to think things out, and have a plan in place before he charges into anything. He’s a lot better at coming up with battle strategies than he is actually fighting.

-Innovation: Cobalt can definitely think outside the box…there are few lines he’s unwilling to cross, and few things he won’t stoop to to get the job done.

Agility

-Speed: Cobalt’s reactions are fairly average, verging on quick.

-Movement: He’s also not a bad runner – he’s had a lot of practice, afterall.

-Tactics: Cobalt can climb – he’s got a strong grip and claws sharp enough to pierce into stone – but his fear of heights has led to him neglecting this skill. If he’s not careful, he can easily panic halfway up a wall, and have to be rescued by the fire-brigade.

-Observation: Cobalt’s pretty observant – it comes with the territory of being a Sableye. Whatever his eyes are picking up, it’s certainly something more than visible light: he can see even in complete darkness, although he’s not entirely sure whether he’s picking up some other frequency of light, or whether some supernatural ability is at work.

-Dexterity: He’s quite dexterous, although his dexterity is hampered a little by only having three fingers. His claws also have a tendency to snag on things if he’s not careful.

Charisma:

-Charm: He’s not awful-looking for his species, and he’s got confidence going for him…but his success with the ladies is probably quite dependent on how attractive said lady finds tiny purple goblins in the first place. He certainly thinks that he’s a lot more charming than he actually is.

-Status: He’s not all that high up in the social pecking order, although he’s not exactly at rock-bottom, either. He’s just in a position where he doesn’t have too much money, and a lot of his stuff is a bit scabby and second hand. (All in all, nothing that can’t be solved with the old three-finger-discount)

-Tongue: Cobalt tries his best to be flexible, and adapt his manner of speaking to match the current situation. He can go quite polite and formal if he needs to…although if he’s not careful, some of his normal, less-refined speaking style can still show though. He has a fairly clean mouth, as months of trying to watch his language around Clanker has rather withered his swearing vocabulary.

-Intimidation: On one hand, Cobalts a Dark/Ghost-Type with claws, razor-sharp teeth, and glowing, pupil-less eyes. On the other hand, he’s only 2-feet tall, so it’s sort of a mixed bag whether he successful scares someone, or whether they just wanna scoop the little guy up and pinch his widdle cheeks.

-Empathy: He’s pretty observant when it comes to other people’s moods…although whether he uses this information to make them feel better or to manipulate them depends on the circumstances.

I've looked at the comments and realised you now have a bright green, a rich red and a soft blue deviant in the comments.

I feel like the low power ability may be due to a tendency to incorporeally pass through objects.
It would be a brilliant excuse at any rate.

*Looks up Sableye* Oh wow the majority of Sableye are shorter than my mudkip Senri. (Who's ~2')

Hey! I remember this meme! I should get around to doing memes again!

I love the kind that explores the actual character; it'll most certainly be a reference I can go to when I draw and/or write our favorite little goblin!
