An updated and much improved version is now available here: [link]The fruit of last week's labour... and a much procrastinated-upon project. The map to go with the calendar! [link]
This map only has the filming locations for the Lord of the Rings movies, I am working on a version that includes other famous NZ movies, or movies shot in NZ (Narnia, The Last Samurai, Whale Rider, the Piano.... etc.) So stay tuned!
I've based this on some, I think 16th century seafaring maps, I reckon this would be a map held in the archives of Gondor.... let me know what you think!

Wow!
My only crit: font size vs. map size & revolution. I can't read anything smaller than the ocean & island names.
Which means that I not only can't read any of the location names; I can't even see whatever numbers/letters/symbols are in the location dots.
Any chance you might post this in larger format and/or with larger & more readable font & symbols?

Yes! I realized that just now. It's mainly supposed to be printed though, I'll have to see how the font size comes out in the print, may need to make some adjustments. Meanwhile, I'll change the resolution of the full view, maybe that will help!
