Connor returned back home. He slowly oppened the doors, and as he entered he saw Hank fallen asleep on the sofa. He entered the house and placed deactivated Ellie on the chair in the kitchen. He entered Hank's room, and took a blanket he found. He quietly came back to Hank, and he placed the blanket on him. He putted Ellie's therioum pump on the table. He walked over to deactivated Ellie, and he scanned her to see is she damaged. She was damaged, a few scars, nothing critical. But it was the virus inside Ellie that was scaring Connor. He found some ducktape. He used it to stick Ellie's arms and legs together, so she can't run away or hurt anyone. After sticking them together, he took the therioum pump from the table and incerted it back in her. She rebooted and turned on again. But it wasn't the Ellie he loved, it was the corrupted one again. After she saw him, she started to hiss at him, like an angry animal. Connor immidiately backed away from her. "You! You deactivated me!" she yelled. "It was for your own good!" Connor answered. Ellie hissed again, trying to get up. She imidiately fell on the floor beacouse her legs were sticked together with ductape. She tried to break the ducktape, but she didn't sucseed due to the extra layers Connor added just to be secured. Connor watched as Ellie helplessly wiggeled on the floor, atempting to break free. She looked back at him and gave him an angry look. "Fuck you!" she said in a annoyed voice. "Now I really want to kill you!!" she added. Connor just stared. He didn't know what to do or how to reply to what corrupted Ellie was saying to him. Then Connor remembered how you managed to turn of the Insanity swich on the first infected android. He grabbed her right arm where her control pannel was placed. "W-whag are you doing? Stop! Right now!" Ellie said. Connor knew that he was doing that right due to the reaction of the virus. Ellie tried to escape, but yet again, no use. Connor removed skin from his right arm and touched Ellie's control pannel. The pannel opened. He remembered that the Insanity swich was the 4th swich in the pannel. He tried to turn it off, but it was stuck. He didn't know what to do. Then he remembered Ellie and how she deactivated the swich which was stuck. He placed his right arm on Ellie's forehead. Suddenly, he wasn't at his house anymore. The place he was right now looked like the zen garden inside Connor's mind. He was in Ellie's mind palace. But it was all ruined, destroyed, burned to the ground. All that is left are ruins. And it was cold too. He had to find Ellie, he had to save her. He is so close to acomplishing, he can't fail now. He started to look around, trying to find any clues that woud lead him to his beloved one. After some time he came across some strange, black liquid on the floor. There was a trail of that liquid. He started to follow it. He came across a huge wall created out of the liquid he was following. And there she was. Ellie was there. The wall was holding her, not letting her. It was imposible for her to escape. She was alive, still trying to wiggle out of there. Connor rushed to her. "Ellie! Is that you?" he asked. Ellie opened her eyes and looked at Connor. "Connor! How did you get here? How did you find me?" she asked him. "I'll explain later! Now we have to save you!" he answered. "Give me your hand!" he said. Ellie managed to pull out her arm out of the black liquid she was stuck on. She raised her hand, and Connor grabbed it. The skin on both Ellie's and Connor's arms started to slowly dissapear. He managed to pull her out of the liquid she was stuck in. "Come let's get out of here." he said. They started to try and find an exit. Suddenly they heared a scream. Then she apeared. The virus. "You wont escape! I wont let you! Only one may leave! Who will it be?" she said. "Connor, go! I'll-" Ellie tried to finnis her sentance, but Connor stood Infront of her. "I am not leaving without her!" he said. "So let it be!" said the virus. She started to run towards them. They both dodged. The virus was covered into the black liquid. "We can't hit it, or else we will get stuck on it. The virus jumped and entered the ground, releasing and actuall earthquake. Ellie and Connor both landed near the emergency exit that every android had. The virus teleported to them. "No where to go! Surender!" she said. "I am sorry Connor..." said Ellie. "Sorry for what?!" Connor asked her in confusion. "For this!" Ellie said. She pushed Connor next to the emergency exit. His hand accidentally touched the exit, and he left. He was back in his own body. The virus took control over Ellie again. Connor failed to save her. Corrupted Ellie oppened her eyes. Connor looked at her empty eyes. "Foolish you! You really thought that you can save her! Give up already!" she said. Connor gave her a sad look. And she replied with a mad one. The virus was furious. She wanned to kill Connor right now, with the most brutal way that she can use. "I will save her! You will not stop me!" Connor said. "We will see about that!" the virus said and smiled at him. Suddenly the virus fell asleep. Connor didn't know what happened. He decided to enter Ellie's mind palace again. Maybe the virus is weakened. Maybe now it's his chanse to free Ellie. He placed his arm on Ellie's forehead, and in a few moments he was back at her mind palace. But this time, something changed. Ellie was there. She wasn't stuck. She was fighting the virus on her own. Connor quickly rushed towards them. Both Ellie and Connor were pushing the virus. They managed to push her, and trow her on the ground. That bought them some time. They quickly rushed to the emergency exit. They arrived. The virus teleported to them. "NO! DON'T YOU DARE!" the virus screamed. "I told you that I will win!" said Connor. They both pressed the exit and left. Connor returned back to his own body. Ellie oppened her eyes. Her eyes were light brown again, they were normal. The real Ellie returned. "Ellie? Do you hear me?" Connor asked. "Yes! I can hear you! Ellie answered. The only think that wasn't normal was that Ellie still had that black liquid that was running from her eyes. "Are you okay?" Connor asked. "Yes." Ellie answered. Connor smiled. "I am glad to hear that. Come! I'll take you to the bathroom, so you can was that black liquid." he said. "Okay..." Ellie answered. She raised her hands and she broke the ducktape. She did the same with her legs. Then she got up from the chair. And followed Connor. Even tho Ellie said that she was okay, Connor knew that she wasn't. She was sad, something was wrong. She followed him to the bathroom. She entered and she closed the door behind her.

(Now back at Ellie's P.O.V.)

I closed the door behind me, leaving Connor behind. I looked at myself truth Hank's mirror. I realised that I am a monster. Connor probaly doesn't love me anymore. Well, after he saw what I actually am, I woudn't be supriced. I felt tears running down my face as I watched myself in the mirror. I sniffed a few times until I didn't hear a knock on the bathroom door. "Ellie, is everithing okay in there?" Connor asked. He was at the door, listening. I didn't answer. He oppened the door, and saw me crying. "Are you okay?!" he asked me. "No! I am not okay!" I answered. He came closer. "What's wrong?" he asked. I looked at him. "The fact that I hurted you, yet I promised that I won't..." I said. He smiled. "But you didn't hurt me, the virus did." he said. I looked down. I felt more tears running down my face. "I looked back at Connor. "Please, don't hate me! Please, don't abandon me! Please!" I said. I coudn't hold the tears. I started to cry even more. I was so embarrassed. "No, I woud never be mad at you and I won't ever abandon you!" he said and he hugged me. I hugged back, burying my face in his chest. I felt a little bit better. "But...do you still love me?" I asked him. "Do you want proof?" he asked. I looked back at him. "Proof? What do you me-" I coudn't finnish my sentance beacouse Connor kissed me. A few momments later, he letted go. "O-okay I trust you..." I said. "Maybe you shoud rest a little now, It's beed tough for you last few days." he said. I nodded. "Okay" he said. "But if you need anything, I'll be in my room, you can come sleep with me if you want!" he said. "Okay, but I have to do something before that." I said. "Okay, I'll wait for you in my room." he said. I nodded. I exited the bathroom, and went to the kitchen. I took the ducktape which Connor used to ductape my arms and legs. I did the same. After ducktaping myself I jumped to Connor's room. After I somehow oppened the doors, Connor looked at me and smiled. He noticed the ducktape. "Why did you ducktape yourself?" he asked. "So I can't harm you!" I answered. Connor laughed. "Come here, let's get this ducktape off." he said. "But..." I said. "I am here, I won't let the virus harm you again." he said. "Okay!" I smiled and I came closer to him. He removed the ducktape. After that he layed on his bed. I sat on the end on his bed. He looked at me. "Why don't you lay down with me Ellie?" he asked. "I am scared to dream, what if the virus corrupts me in my dream or something?!" I panicked. "There is nothing to be afraid of while I am here!" he smiled. He got up and hugged me, then layed down with me. I turned towards him and I hugged him back. We both fell asleep................
