TOP left to right:
Jack Kelly (my sweet cinammon role who deserves nice things and people forget that he's just a baby who wants love)
David & Les Jacobs
Spot Conlon (with literal spots...aaaay)

BOTTOM left to right:
Racetrack Higgins & Spot Conlon (I ship it shamelessly/ Race isn't very tall, Spot is just a midget)
Crutchie
Jack Kelly & Katherine Plumber (though I am a proud Javid lover, even I have to admit these two are FUCKING GOALS)

RAMBLE TIME:
So Newsies is my favourite show of all time and if I could draw people, trust me it would be ALL i draw. but alas, canines will have to suffice.

Seeing the Broadway movie recently completely rekindled my obsession with this show (to the point of doing Santa Fe for my singing assignment in college even though it's hella low and has a horrific belt at the end).
I saw the movie with my friend- myself having already seen the show (though with terrible quality due to coughillegalvideocough) and my friend having never seen it. We were both crying by the first dance routine.

Personally my ideal cast (for these characters at least) is: Ben Fankhauser as Davey, Corey Cott as Jack, Tommy Bracco as Spot, Ben Cook as Race, and Kara Lindsay as Katherine. I would have loved to see Corey as Jack in the movie, just because he plays the character more as the young, cheeky yet vulnerable smart-aleck kid, while Jeremy is just too butch and manly for me ("Even at 17" my arse). BUT I still do very much like Jeremy's performance, and his voice is just. angel tears. I can't process the beauty. I have heard Heaven.

Needless to say I am eagerly awaiting that DVD with several bags of popcorn and a box of tissues.
