It's Dev the Chameleon! The devious, yet lethargic, skinnable mascot! And surely, he's up to some devious things again! Did I mention he's green too!?(sorry, i need sleep... it's exam time over here, and all I could manage is this pencil sketch...)

This would be very attractive as a finished piece - perhaps with the website part being a little bit transparent. I'd put my settings to it if that was available as a skin.

agreed with jark.. great so far, but you should try inking it and colouring it.. plus we need a full body shot, not where he's hiding behind the site graphic

Wow, this is hella cool, I think this is just as much what they're asking for as anything else... And how appropriate, cuz cameleons are skinnable... I never woulda got that if you hadn't said it but that makes the whole idea, ya know?
My only concern is that this sketch looks so awesome because it's a sketch, and when it's cleaned up it'll lose something, but only time will tell...
