The color schemes/clothing style/red bandana are similar to that of a certain anthro artist I know. Honestly, dude, if you're going to post art, make something that is NOT based off of someone's fursona. You can be reported if you don't take this down. Just warning you.
Inspiration is a great thing, but don't ever base it off of someone else's originality, dude.

No, you don't understand. I never mentioned anything about a base. Yes, you used a furry maker, BUT you STILL COPIED the looks and colors off of the anthro artist's fursona.
It's the color schemes of the clothings you copied.
I didn't mention if the anthro artist was a "him" or a "her", but it looks like you know him. The artist already knows what's going on, so he has the right to be aware. This is his work that's being copied off of. But listen to me:
Even if this isn't a trace or a base, you still infringed the rights of another artist. Copying in ANY form will make you lose respect points pretty quick here on Deviant Art. I understand you're still young and all and probably don't understand what you're doing. Art is not about snatching people's own ideas and hoping your alterations will make it "seem" like it's "your own creation". It's not! If people took your art and tried changing some things around, I bet you'd be pretty offended too.

This is his "casual look", according to him. It doesn't seem like a coincidence that you took the idea from this? Because he has mentioned that you've used to use this as a base in one of your drawings before. Also, the red bandana on your character. It seems Tiamat's fursona is the only anthro I've seen (I could be wrong) that has that as his signature item. It is too much of a coincidence to consider that you based it off of his fursona's look.
Regardless, whether it was a mistake, you should try to change your fursona's look. He acknowledges it, and he doesn't seem to be happy about it.

Whether or not you want to go through with this again(?), you should have kept your hands off of people's ideas in their art even if you credit them. Make up your OWN ideas.
Copying in ANY form, is considered a form of plagiarism. Coincidence or a mistake or not, that's how it works!
You're going to have to understand how copyright works around here, or else you'll be facing huge consequences.

Red Jacket, Black Undershirt, Brown Pants, and the Red Bandana. Look at his fursona's clothings and compare. It doesn't have to be the EXACT look. If you're saying there's nothing that looks similar, then you're denying it.
I was the one who commented yesterday on that art, by the way. I don't do this to antagonize people like you. I do this so you know and you can fix it before you get into trouble with these artists or even DA.

No, no, no. I'm sorry if I made you misunderstood and if I misunderstood. I'm not asking you to leave. All I want you to do is remove this art and [link] Is this hard? You can get in trouble even if it's an accident. That's how strict the copyright rule is.
Like I said, you can upload a new set of clothing colors to fix this problem. As long as it isn't similar in anyone's fursona, then you are safe (change your color preferences at least).

Yes, that also works. I think the Red Bandana is just a little addition so you won't have to worry about that. More of an inspiration than anything else.
