so Appmon is in full swing! and admittedly, I've only seen the first episode in full, but so far it's really great and I love it. and I've also been playing the Cyber Arena demo on and off although being unable to decipher anything puts a kink in grinding....

so of course I made fan characters because this is me we're talking about and I have absolutely no restraint whatsoever

from left to right, Mamoru Hattori, Honoka Kagamine, Makoto Kuronuma!

Mamoru's a 13yo kid who attends the same school as Haru (potentially in the same class?) who ends up getting his own AppliDrive (a dark pink one). His buddy Appmon is Dressmon! He's a pretty quiet kid who love fashion and keeps a notebook with him almost all the time that he doodles rough outfit designs in. However, he doesn't really talk about his interest as he's been teased mercilessly about it in the past, and he gets enough shit from his family about his unconventional interest, so. He tends to keep it to himself. He's a sweet kid, but he keeps people at arm's length because he's terrified of rejection. he also has a crush on yuujin because fuck you why not but also internalized homophobia makes him convinced it's just. intense admiration. yes, that's all. yup. no dokis, none at all.

Honoka is 17 and a fledgling voice actress, just breaking into the industry. She has a silver AppliDrive and is buddied up with Recomon. She's very much the big sister type (or motherly type, if her pseudo dead anime mom hairstyle has anything to say about it). She doesn't really understand the Appmon that much, but she likes collecting the chips of cute ones and ones relating to audio things. Her current role is a main character in a magical girl anime, and she's known for her incredible range her intended VA is Mitsuki Saiga for a REASON. I figure she probably has met Eri prior to the start of the series as well?

Makoto is 14 and a hacker shitlord. Her AppliDrive is gold, and her partner is Roleplaymon. She's the lazy genius archetype--she's annoyingly smart but really just doesn't care most of the time. She's very loud and kind of abrasive and hard to get along with. Spends most of her time locked away in her room when not at school or at an arcade. She's never seen without a handheld of some sort on her person, and when she gets bored in the middle of a conversation, she will literally pull it out and start playing instead of listening. She's infamous on the gaming and hacking scene, operating on the handle "BLACK_B❂X". However, no one has made the connection that she's the one with that handle, as she never does voice chats and only plays as male characters. She also has the uncanny ability to break video games and make them operate in ways they were never meant to (and she's quite proud of that.) The most likely to figure out how to get the "Geddan" meme work in a video game.
