So how about I love me some Xros Wars. 'Cause I so totally do. though it'll never top savers in my mind because savers will always hold a special part of my heart BUT ANYWAY.

And I've wanted to draw Taiki and Shoutmon! And to celebrate the fact that OH EM GEE I MADE A 98 ON MY ANATOMY TEST, I decided to finally sit down and properly draw, line, and color something, since I haven't done that since the school year started. D|

So~ My favorite General and my new favorite Digimon [yes, he knocked out Gaomon as my favorite, but come aaaaawn, SHOUTMON IS ROCKIN' AWESOME~]. I know there's a lot of glow work goin' on there, but it seemed to work, and it gave the picture the look I was goin' for. Plus, I found a picture of Taiki's Xros Loader that I editted and slapped in. 'Cause I was entirely too lazy to draw and line and color one. /punched

Not even kidding, TOTALLY AND THOROUGHLY pleased with how this came out~ Looks just how I imagined it in my mind looking~ Plus I'm thrilled with Taiki's and Shoutmon's anatomy/expressions/coloring~ The Xros Loader looks a little out of place with them, though, b-but I might go back and redraw it sometime. I was going for something similar to that screencap of Masaru and ShineGreymon, with Masaru's Digivice Burst in the middle of the screen between them? -hopes someone knows what she's talking about otl;;- And I didn't have a color reference for Taiki's outfit, hair, and skin while I was coloring him, 'cause I left my flash drive with the manga scans at home, and I couldn't get on the internet, so I had my phone and was trying to custom-mimic the colors that I saw on there. |D;; Also, yes, I forgot his wrister. BLAH BLAH BLAH he never uses it anyway. -pouts- And the background is an "x" because THEY ARE KUROSU HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHT~ [-punched for murdering the Kouji Wada song of the series otl;;-]

And the title explanation! 8D See, you guys know how Taiki was able to find and rescue both Shoutmon and Knightmon through hearing their melodies? And how, supposedly, all Digimon have melodies? Well...I'm kinda irritated that the whole concept hasn't really been explained or explored, merely hinted at. SO UNLESS XROS WARS DECIDES TO EXPLAIN IT SOOOOOON...I'm using this theory!~

...So, in Soul Eater, Meisters are able to control their Weapons by having similar soul wavelengths, right? And when a Meister and his or her Weapon have their souls in sync, they are able to experience a "Soul Resonance," which unleashes a Weapon's full potential and allows them to kick some serious ass. WELL WHAT IF....

Each Digimon in an army has a particular melody? And when they DigiXros, their melodies are "in tune" with one another? And in order for a General to initiate a DigiXros, HIS melody has to be "in tune" with the melodies of his "soldiers"? And when a General's melody is "synced" with the melodies of his followers, they're able to unleash a " resonant symphony"!~

....? What? I want an explanation for melodies, so I use my own random theories. I actually had a similar idea when I was in middle school and was trying to make a music-based Digimon fan-series, but it totally fell through. ._.U ANYWAY~ What do you guys think about the picture?~ And the rambling melodies?~ |D;;

OH OH OH OHOH! BECAUSE THEY LOOK...NOT AS GOOD WITH THE SOFT GLOW/BLURS/RED MELODY SPOTS ON THEM, I uploaded Taiki and Shoutmon separately too~
