Wow, happy Easter!
I wonder where you got the idea from? Eggs come from birds, and griffins have wings like birds, therefore it wouldn't go far as saying... Well, even so, my mind is boggled!
Such a soft use in colors conveys to me that this is a really gentle griffin.
The colors match the style like a fairytale storybook type setting!
The only problem I can really point out for me is the talons and how size wise they're unsymmetrical, and I know perspective is supposed to be there and all but the right talon would still not be that small. The number of claws on each talon, with your skill of shading, you could've definitely represented the two other claws.
But that's just being nit-picky, I really love it. Keep up the good work!
