I like the concept! did something like this not long ago. Maybe I submit it in here, but I'm not quite sure!

What I first saw (and think is very distracting) are the very hard shadows! I think it would look way better with a better lighting! Maybe you should think of that, because in my opinion this concept has much potential!

Firstly thanks a lot for your extended comment, i really appreciate it.

The shadows are (almost) the best i could produce. At this time i work with DIY equipment so good softboxes and proper lighting are not in my possesion. Of course i'm not offended.

Sorry, but what exactly is DIY ? I'm still working with a Metz 48-1 AF and a very cheap no name for about 20 bucks

I also have no money for good lighting stuff and also use a selfmade softbox.
So the issue I see is, that the hand is between the face and the light source. that problem could maybe be fixed...but I'm not quite sure, because I do not know your possibilities.

DIY stands for Do It Yourself , which means actually selfmade.
I use a pretty powerfull halogen light (I didn't use a flash.) with a diffuser (rice paper) in front of it.
The issue with the shadow was bad "planning" and position because of the restricted space.
