This is finally three of four unseen OCs voted for in the poll from a few months back, meet Julie the Jolteon, Joshua's and Jessica's "mother"! Or unfortunately perhaps you can't meet her anymore, for reasons I'll explain later on this post. And that, sirs and madams, is your viewer discretion warning.

She began as a normal stray Jolteon who, as shown from security cameras, came from the woods for an undisclosed reason. It is rumored that her own parents abandoned her deep in the woods and she had to find civilization, as she was extremely skinny at the time. She found Professor Oak's lab when she was an estimated age of only around 2 years old. By that time, Professor Oak had only defeated Brock and was aiming to destroy the Pokemon League.

Julie joined Oak's team and, just 2 years later, Professor Oak claimed a serious victory over the legendary Dragon User, Trainer Lance. Then 2 years after that, when Julie was 6, Professor Oak created a baby output machine that is meant to produce a baby subject given 2 participants. SilphCo founder Nandor decided to volunteer for the position, and Julie stepped in as the female counterpart, making history for what would be Joshua's and Jessica's mother and father.

The machine did not produce an immediately visible baby as planned, though Julie was found to be pregnant months later with Joshua, and then 3 years later, with Jessica. This is rumored to be linked to the use of this machine.

Because Julie is only 6 years older than Joshua, she's sometimes referred to as Joshua's and Jessica's older sister rather than as their mother. And of course due to her young age of motherhood, she acted a lot like a child as well, rubbing off on Joshua and Jessica. Sometimes she'd get really mad if things weren't going well for her, but generally she respected everybody and got along just fine.

When she was 15, she was coming back home and encountered a giant gathering of people from a house's yard all the way to the parked cars on the street. Intending to avoid interference, Julie opted for the street, walking around the cars. As fate would have it, a reckless person started their car and quickly drove out of their spot, not seeing Julie, and ran right over her. There she was left for a few hours, only a few houses down from home, though nobody took notice and she faced a slow, painful death. This happened when Joshua was 9.

Since this happened so early, Julie is not even alive by Season 1, as she died 5 years prior. However throughout the EVLA canon, Joshua and Jessica sometimes speak with Julie in their dreams. Julie rarely will also speak in the actual world to convey subtle messages to Joshua and Jessica, but not to anybody else. Nobody has seen her apparition yet... Or at least, not in a devious form. However, she will often appear in front of unsuspecting people who don't know her and disappear when they're not looking.

Despite Julie being generally a young klutz when she was alive, Joshua and Jessica look back on her as a very wise person to an almost objectively inaccurate extent, and continue to look up to her as their "hero".

She could be identified by her hair being curly rather than spiky, as brushed on her own to try and make herself look cute. Her clothes were a neck warmer, and arm and leg weights to keep herself in shape (The latter of which can be seen in the second image.) She was also visibly more muscular than current Jessica, but not as bulky as current Joshua.

While she does not look very tough, she does have some strength hidden under her fluffy demeanor. She was able to defeat Lance's Dragonite solo by summoning a thunder storm so crazy that it put everybody in the stadium into a coma. But physically, her punch impact is average and her body as a whole can't take much of a beating.

So, let's welcome this old, but unseen, Jolteon into the chaotic lineup of Eevees! Don't be too surprised if she comes to you looking a little more transparent than usual...
