Here's sketches of of Genocide Frisk I've been working in!
While I was coming up with this idea, I was like:
"Why keep using a knife, when you can use a bat?"

That's because, remember when in the pacifist route, Frisk would use a stick?
Well... in the genocide route, they start to become more insane after battling the monsters, even when they thought they're not real in the first place.
So, the reason why they use a bat instead of a knife, a bat is similar to a stick, since they'e both made of wood.
But it's mostly because it takes a lot of hits to defeat you opponent. Which makes the battle more messier.
