Description
“Fate isn’t permanent,” I said to the EnderDragon as we stood in the Nether.
“Yes, it is. My fate, Varg’s fate, Ukjent’s fate, your fate, they are all sitting there. And the more you work to avoid your fate, the more likely it is that it will occur. For example, you thought your fate was to defeat me, but it really was to work with me. I thought my fate was to be killed by Varg, but it really was to wait for you to help me.”
“That’s the problem with free will. Now that you’ve told me what you think my fate is, I have the power to change it.”
The Dragon shook his head, spread his wings, and conjured up more mobs. This time there were pink and green soldiers with swords.
“These are Zombie Pigmen. Think of them as a stronger version of the zombie you know of. These are the foot soldiers of your new army. Along with the Enderman, you can use them to overtake the human world.”
“I don’t understand why you believe that I would do anything like that.”
“Because it’s not your decision, it’s mine.”
The Dragon wrapped himself up in his wings and turned into a column of green smoke. The smoke enveloped both the Pigmen and me. The smoke was choking, but not painful. I could feel the Dragon’s magic in the smoke but could do nothing against it. The pain drove me to my knees, and eventually to a fully-prone position. I was sure that I was dead. When I opened my eyes, I felt new power in my body. I could see what was going on, but I could no longer do anything. The Dragon had taken control of my body. My body rose, he picked up my sword, and began to lead the Zombie Pigmen and Endermen back through the Nether portal.
On the other side of the portal stood the two Diamond Warriors that Morgan had ordered to stand guard and lead me back to the castle.
“Ah good, Ukjent, you’re back.”
“How did it go?”
“Better than expected,” the Dragon inside me said.
“Well, we better head back. Queen Morgan will want to hear about this.”
As soon as the guards turned their backs, the Dragon raised my Diamond sword.
“No,” I screamed, but I couldn’t be heard.
The Dragon swiftly cut them down with the sword. They were dead before they hit the ground. He then motioned towards the portal. Soon, Enderman, armored Pigmen, and armored Skeletons exited, more than I had encountered when I first reached the castle. The Dragon began to walk in the direction of the castle. I tried to resist, but couldn’t do anything. I was now only an observer to the Dragon’s actions.
