Description

Artist’s note… first of all, I want to say that I have been kinky for as long as I remember (kindergarten!).  I did not discover BDSM online.  Nobody introduced me to it.  And no movie ever skewed my way of thinking.

With that being said, there were certain movies from when I was a kid that got the old blood pumping, such as Goonies (when the teenage girls get tied up and forced to walk the plank, and then the one throws her bound arms over the head of the teenage boy!), or Kentucky Fried Movie (by the makers of “Airplane,” there is a skit called “Catholic High School Girls in Trouble,” and it features three women tied up standing, and being whipped by a dwarf clown).  One movie that I remember very fondly is “From Beyond,” a low budget horror movie from the 80s, where the female star ends up in black leather and strapped into a bondage frame.

So THAT, my friends, is where this pic is coming from.

Great Pic! Just one question, What's with Ron's head? You've explained why Kim is tied up so what's the story with Ron?

"From Beyond" starred Jeffrey Combs (Ron Stoppable) and Barbara Crampton (Kim Possible) of "Reanimator" fame.  Combs plays a research assistant named Crawford.  The movie starts with Crawford destroying a machine and running frantically out of a gothic looking mansion, owned by his boss, Dr. Pretorius.  Pretorius had invented a machine called the Resonator that allowed people to peer into other dimensions, but creatures from the other dimensions could peer back.  Pretorius, who had a bdsm dungeon in his home, got taken to the other dimension and turned into a creature.

Crampton plays a psychiatrist who takes Crawford (who had been committed to a mental institution,) back to the house to recreate the experiment.  Crawford (Ron Stoppable) is attacked and "swallowed" up to his waste by a creature.  He is saved by the doctor and the big cop who is keeping an eye on him.  But this attack alters Crawford as he becomes a part of this other dimension.  He goes bald, and a "third eye" on a stalk emerges from his forehead.  That is what you see on Ron's head.

The idea behind the movie was that they were stimulating the pineal gland, which modern science has still not completely figured out.  In times past, it was thought the pineal was the "third eye" which is where that comes into play.  Interestingly, it was also thought to play a role in sexual desires at one point, which the movie ties into Pretorius' bdsm proclivities.  While the Doctor is staying there, she becomes intrigued by the leather outfits and tries one on.  I do have to admit though, that in the movie, there were two separate scenes, one where she was dressed in leather, and a second one where she is strapped into the bondage frame by Crawford.  For the pic, I combined the two.
