I thought the "Hero Turtles" version removed Mikey's Nunchucks because they were deemed "too violent" in the UK.

Yep, not like swords and sticks. Traditional British Children's toys.

Don't think the theme tune here would've been quite as awesome with 'Ninjas in a half shell' on the end. Love the style of your turtles too man.

Thanks! Yeah 'Ninja' may be cool, but it doesn't have the power of alliteration!

Yup, England. They called them Hero Turtles in the 80's for fear of ninja reprisals.

I remember buying Whizzer & Chips and Buster when I saw advertisements for TMNT & thinking 'wtf, why is it hero?' Then I found out the Brits thought it was too violent for kids, ha, wonder what they think of some of the stuff now a days.
Anyway apart from my babbling, this is great, I especially like Michaelangelo & Leonardo here, great expressions and I like you've pushed them completely into your style.

haha. Oh Britain and it's silly censoring. Who knew they'd be more prudish than the US about something.
haha. I like how much you actually made them look like turtles.

Cheers! Yeah it was pretty dumb, yet kids were still climbing down into sewer pipes and getting trapped, those eighties fools!

I'm English and they thought we would kill each other if we heard words like 'ninja'. So its always HERO Turtles!
