Just out of curiousity, how about a few details. Did this start as a sketch that was then scanned onto your computer then was opened and colored in Photoshop or some such program? And about how long did it take? Curiousity, you know, is a lot of bothersome questions...

No problem! It started out as a brushpen drawing, then I scanned it into photoshop for coloring. I used a graphics tablet cos I find it easier to 'draw' with than a mouse. Once it was colored it was just a case of adding layers of shadow and light to make the lazer beam. Drawing it didn't take too long but coloring took a few days of messing around to get it all right.

Yeah I recommend getting one for computer coloring, its a hell of a lot easier.
