 Would I be correct in identifying this as a representation of King John setting his seal to the Great Charter at Runnymede? (no matter the subject, this would appear to be an absolutely superb rendition of it!).

 A-ha, I am very glad to know that my Scholarship hasn't failed me - I'm also moved to wonder if you've ever drawn up a Robin Hood, for reasons that should be obvious!
