So, it's a Fleetway Super Sonic during his amnesia period, when he wasn't a bloodlusty demon, but, rather, a pretty nice guy? And he sees his "power" side in reflection, which still remained as unhinged and cruel as always?

There's actually some unintentional symbolism here. In myth, a mirror was supposed to reveal the true nature of one's soul - this is why vampires have no reflection(no soul) and why breaking a mirror is considered bad luck.
Just as Sonic cannot escape his demons, neither can poor Super. Poor Super, doomed from the start: blessed with all this power to make the world a better place, but the moment he taps into it he will go into a psychotic rage. Now depending on one's interpretation of Super's separate existence, he has either died or is trapped in Sonic's soul with the evil one.

Wow, this really is impressive. Nice to see the kind of imagary like this too with the two incarnations of him.
