Hitting the trail soon? Don't forget the bourbon! Nothing worse than being on the trail for days and no saloon in sight. Now you can be prepared to take the edge off a cold night.
The leather pouch is made from a 5oz veg tan leather finished with an antiqued brown dye. Snap and rivets are brass to match the etched plate with a 3"X3" art nouveau design.

Fits nicely on a 1 1/2 inch wide belt, Utility Bandoleer, or even the Ladies Cross Draw Utility Belt. It comes with a stainless steel flask which holds 8oz of liquid.

I just think they're really dumb and pointless. Who needs to take hard alcohol with them? It's an alcoholic's favorite accessory.

Usually people who like to go outdoors, like fishing or camping. Drinking neat alcohol can keep you warm and some people like the taste. Also, obviously, drinking neat alcohol doesn't mean you are an alcoholic.

Your quote insinuates anyone who has a flask is a drunk alcoholic. It's like giving someone a gun and saying, "You look like a murderer! Here, looks like you could use a nice .45 for people who piss you off. This would be perfect in a crowded mall!"
A flask is a great way to pack your favorite beverage to take to places where glass bottles would be a bad idea. Perhaps to the beach, camping/hiking, outdoor events/faires, etc... But hey, to each his own...don't want one, don't get one.

Flasks are only for hard alcohol, you gonna bring 4 oz of pepsi when you go camping? And anyone that carries a flask probably has alcohol issues. Guns can be and are used for hunting and protection, but no one is carrying 4 oz of half and half in their flask for coffee.

Perhaps you didn't get my intent. What I said (wish a bit of sarcasm) was: carrying a flask doesn't make you a alcoholic any more than carrying a gun makes you a murderer. And I fully meant taking "hard alcohol" in the flask to any of the events I mentioned. Having a couple of pulls of bourbon around a campfire is no different than having a couple of beers.
