The anniversary of Ryan and Rita's marriage was here, along with Ryan's birthday who was born on August 5th, the same day both him and his lovely mate decided to propose to each other. This was a very special day for both of them, not only because this was the day the well known railroad dog was born but also because it was the most important day of their lives, and they always have ways to celebrate their anniversary and Ryan's birthday at the same time.

"Happy anniversary honey" Ryan said in a very cheerful tone. His tail was wagging happily and a bit madly due to how excited he is to spend his birthday and anniversary with his gorgeous mate.

The familiar cheerful tone made Rita smile, very very brightly. "Happy anniversary and birthday to you, love" replied the red haired Saluki. She wasn't facing her mate for some reason, looking into a mirror while applying something on her face.

Ryan couldn't see what she was doing thanks to her hair blocking most of her face and her paws applying whatever she was applying on her face. He had a guess that it was part of the surprises she'd have for their anniversary and his birthday. "So how are we gonna start the day?" he asked curiously.

Rita giggle, her tail gently propping up her spotted mate's head like it's a stool. "Well, I think you're about to find out" she responded flirtatiously. When she was done looking in the mirror, she slowly turned around to reveal her gorgeous face and her lips having bright blue lipstick on them. Usually she'd wear the blue lipstick during Autism Awareness month since her mate has Autism, but this anniversary she decided to wear it just for her autistic lover.

The sight of Rita wearing her "Autism Awareness Lipstick" made Ryan's eyes grow wide and his smile growing brighter than Las Vegas at Christmas time. He knew what that meant when he saw those bright blue lips. "Is it time for?"

"It's time to make that face of your blue with love" Rita winked. She slowly walked over towards her mate and wrapped a paw under his chin, slowly leaning into his face with a kissy look on her muzzle. She smooched her lips playfully before her lips finally made contact, right on her mate's cheek.

That simple action made everything around Ryan go silent, except for Rita's "mmmmmwuah" sound. Everything fell on deaf ears other than his mate. His body instantly went light with love, hearts floated around his head and he honestly thought he felt his heart beat as fast as the Roadrunner from Looney Tunes. This was the best way to start the day, but there was still 10 or even 32 more kisses to receive. This was going to be a very long but lovely day.
