Description
Miner's Hut is an old ghost town located on the branch line leading to Joshua's Craddle. It was once a small and peaceful town located a few miles from the Miner's Hut mines, now abandoned and no longer in use, and was also used by the now gone Cocker Town and Hinton Railroad before the line was ripped up and replaced with standard gauge tracks leading towards the ghost town. The only remains of the town is the cemetery, a crossing shack located near a grade crossing that still has the old wig wag signals in operation, an old saloon which is now used by a couple of homeless pets and the foundation of the old depot that once stood in the middle of the town. There's a bridge and a tunnel not far from this spot that trains have to use to get to Joshua's Craddle, and trains have to take turns going over this section of the line. There are plans to double track this part of the line to handle more trains and to reduce waiting traffic.
