I was just there looking for the little red lighthouse under the bridge! I had no idea that this area was so cool. I didnj't get a shot quite this good, but i did get the little lighthouse!

I really like your view...they had something blocked off when we were thee to prevent getting that exact angle!
That really is a super cool park though and I may be naive but it seemed pretty safe too!

Manhattan has far fewer of the dangers it famously had in the 70's and 80's. By the early 90's, the crime levels started diving. Many neighborhoods are coming up and up -- if for no other reason than the land is too expensive to let them go. That, and lots and lots of police. It's a fine place to go biking. Thank you!
